Have you ever wondered what’s going on in your bridal consultant’s head? Well, we’re here to give you a sneak peek. What is our job, why do we ask so many questions, and how do we use that info to find your dream dress?
Simply put, our job is to find your dream dress. We listen closely to what you’re looking for, and pull all the little details together in one gown. We have extensive knowledge of our inventory, so we know just where to look for a dress in your size, budget, and style you are looking for. Here at Malmrose Bridal, we don’t get paid on sales commission, so we are truly here for you and to find your gown.
But beyond “finding the one,” we want to make sure you feel heard and supported. That’s why we ask so many questions. It’s important to let us know what you are thinking and feeling. When you say, “I want something comfortable.” We might ask, “What does comfortable mean to you?” We are looking for clarification because “comfortable” to the consultant might mean soft fabric, but to the bride it might mean a dress that she can move and dance in!
Be honest with us about what details you are loving and the ones you aren’t! Don’t worry–we didn’t design these dresses and we won’t be offended. Telling us your thoughts helps us identify what details are most important to you so we can find YOUR dress among hundreds of gowns in the shop.
Another part of a consultant’s job is to help you see the whole picture. As your bridal bestie, we can help you visualize what your dress will look like with added sleeves, lace details, or a bustle and hem. When you’re in your gown and you just can’t stop smiling, we’re going to pull out a veil and bouquet and help you envision walking down the aisle to your fiance!
