The most important thing to remember is to bring someone whose opinion you trust and really knows you and your style. Bringing close friends or family who are truly on your side and have your best interest in mind will help your appointment go smoothly.
Really, we recommend keeping your appointment group to a small, intimate group. Having a large group with you can quickly become overwhelming, so we limit each bridal appointment to three guests (plus the bride, of course).
Brides who come with a large group often find their thoughts get drowned out by the varying opinions of their group. So, having just a couple of guests will help the bride keep a clear mind and help her identify what she is loving about the gowns she tries on.
There are many brides who even come by themselves for this same reason. This is especially helpful for the bride who is prone to people-pleasing or has friends and family that are very opinionated. If you want to come by yourself to your initial appointment, but still want your friends and family to be a part of this special experience, we can schedule a follow-up appointment so they get to see you try on your dress in the shop. Just remember that we sell a lot of our gowns off the floor, so to reserve the dress for your follow-up appointment, you will need to pay a deposit or purchase your gown.
For our social butterflies who really want to have a big group of friends with them, we offer The Bridal Suite! For $250 you can reserve the entire shop to yourself and 8 guests. We provide drinks, a charcuterie board, and a fun, personalized experience! And when we find your dress, $100 from your Bridal Suite reservation goes toward your gown!
